AutoCAD Fundamentals - Plus

The objective of AutoCAD Fundamentals is to enable students to create a basic 2D drawing in the AutoCAD software. Even at this fundamental level, the AutoCAD software is one of the most sophisticated computer applications that you are likely to encounter.

On completion of this course students will have been given the opportunity to acquire knowledge and understanding
of commands and concepts that develop the skills necessary to demonstrate competency in:
• Navigating the AutoCAD® workspace and user interface
• Using basic drawing, editing, and viewing tools
• Organizing drawing objects on layers
• Inserting reusable symbols (blocks)
• Preparing a layout to be plotted
• Adding text, hatching, and dimensions
• Completing documentation in accordance with AS1100.101

Phase 1 - Instructor-led Group Training Topics

AutoCAD® - The Complete Guide is designed to give you a solid understanding of AutoCAD® features and capabilities from the basics through to advanced and complex 3D modelling components. Every course is designed to use all learning styles including text, audio, video, interactivity, quizzes and practical “Let Me Try” examples.AutoCAD® -

Phase 2 - Guided E-Learning:

The Complete Guide has been carefully structured not only to give you the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills you need to be a successful AutoCAD® user, but also to prepare you for the Autodesk Certification exams. A certification icon in the “Let Me Try tasks” will alert you to areas that are especially relevant to AutoCAD® certification.
E-Learning Topics:
Getting Started...Basic Drawing Skills...Using Drawing Aids...Auditing Entities...Shaping Curves...Controlling Object Visibility and Appearance...Organizing Objects...Hatching and Gradients...Working with Blocks and Xrefs...Creating and Editing Text...Using MTEXT...Dimensioning...Keeping in Control with Constraints...Working with Layouts and Annotative Objects...Printing and Plotting...Working with Data...Navigating 3D Models...Modelling in 3D...Presenting and Documenting 3D Design

Delivery Mode

In a new approach to learning AutoCAD, we have put together a combination of Instructor-led and Guided E-learning to maximize your learning experience and reduce the amount of time out-of-office.

Phase 1 - 2 days Instructor-led Group Training (09:00 - 16:30)
Phase 2 - 12 months access to self-paced E-learning: Revit Architecture – The Complete Guide (Refer to terms and conditions on login)

Login details for Global e-Training will be provided at the Instructor-led training.
Access to Guided E-Training for 12 months

An A2K Technologies “Certificate of Attendance” will be issued following the 2 days of Instructor-led Training. An Autodesk “Certificate of Completion” will be issued on successful completion of the E-Learning course
