Inventor - Advanced Assembly Modelling

Inventor Advanced Assembly Modelling builds on the skills acquired in the Inventor Fundamentals Plus Course and Advanced Part Modelling to take students to a higher level of productivity creating and working with assemblies in Inventor.

Description

In this training, you begin by learning the concept of Top-Down Design for assembly creation. Planning the assembly using the Top-Down Design approach helps create clean, reusable geometry that interacts as expected with the rest of the assembly.

Delivery Mode
Traditional Instructor-led Group Training
2 consecutive days (09:00 - 16:30)

Courseware
An Autodesk® Official Training Guide is provided as a Reference Resource at the conclusion of the course.

Certification
An A2K Technologies “Certificate of Attendance” will be issued on completion of the course.

Course Objectives:
On completion of this course students will have been given the opportunity to acquire knowledge and understanding of commands and concepts that develop the skills necessary to be able to:
     • Apply motion to existing assembly constraints using either Drive Constraints or Motion and Transitional Constraints
     • Use Top-Down Design technique for creating assemblies and its components
     • Use Inventor tools for Top-Down Design, including associative links, adaptive parts, multi-body design, layout design, derived components, and skeleton models
     • Create Positional Representations of an assembly to review motion, evaluate the position of assembly components, or document an assembly in a drawing
     • Create Level of Detail Representations to reduce the clutter of large assemblies, as well as reduce your time spent waiting for your system to retrieve a large number of components in an assembly
     • Use the Design Accelerator to easily insert standard and customisable components and features into your model.
     • Create rendered realistic images and animations of parts and assemblies using Inventor Studio and the Video Producer
     • Use iMates, iAssemblies, and iLogic to work efficiently with assemblies
     • Use the Frame Generator to create members in a structural frame work
     • Use pattern, mirror, and copy techniques to duplicate components in an assembly
     • Work with Weldments
