In this one-day course, students start with basic topics such as setting up new projects, creating and assigning company calendars, assigning resources to created tasks, etc. and move on to advanced topics such as creating baselines, levelling resources and producing various reports.

Microsoft Project Quick Start training   is focused on delivering all core topics in Microsoft Project within one day.

After starting with basic topics such as setting up new projects, creating and assigning company calendars, assigning resources to created tasks, etc, students move on to advanced topics such as creating baselines, levelling resources and producing various reports.

Students will be working on prebuilt exercises to understand some of the core Microsoft Project concepts in detail within a short timeframe. This course is a fast-tracked version of Microsoft Project training, to enable students to get started using the software quickly.

Courseware
An A2K Technologies authorised Microsoft Project Training Guide is provided as a reference resource at the conclusion of the course.

Certification
An A2K Technologies “Certificate of Attendance” will be issued on completion of the course.

Course Objectives
On completion of the course, students would have been given the opportunity to acquire knowledge and understanding of tools, functions and concepts that develop the skills necessary to be able to:

•    Track and update project schedules.

Who should attend and Course Prerequisites

This training course is designed for new users of Microsoft Project.
Students attending this course should have:
•    A sound level of Microsoft Excel or previous versions of Microsoft Project.
•    Basic knowledge of project management principles.
•    A sound understanding of project management terminology.
