This course provides a thorough introduction to Autodesk 3ds Max software that will help new users make the most of this sophisticated application, as well as broaden the horizons of existing, self-taught users.

In a new approach to learning, we have put together a combination of Instructor-led and Guided E-learning to maximize your learning experience and reduce the amount of time out-of-office.
Phase 1 - 3 days Instructor-led Group Training 09:00 - 16:30
Phase 2 - 12 months access to self-paced E-learning: 3ds Max – The Complete Guide (refer to terms and conditions on login)

Certification
An A2K Technologies “Certificate of Attendance” will be issued following the 3 days of Instructor-led Training
An Autodesk “Certificate of Completion” will be issued on successful completion of the E-Learning course

Courseware
Login details for Global e-Training will be provided at the Instructor-led training.
Access to Guided E-Training for 12 months

Course Objectives
On completion of this course students will have been given the opportunity to acquire knowledge and understanding of commands and concepts that develop the skills necessary to be able to:
     • Navigate the Autodesk 3ds Max Interface and understand the 3DS Max Workflow
     • Understand the basic functionality, features and principles behind 3ds Max 
     • Create and manipulate 3D data in 3ds Max 
     • Import data from other 3D applications
     • Embellish scenes with the use of materials and maps
     • Create adequate lighting for your environments
     • Animate objects in the scene
     • Render still pictures and animations to disk for later viewing

This course is designed for new users of Autodesk 3DS Max Design.
Students are expected to have:

     • a thorough working knowledge of Revit, Inventor or AutoCAD software
     • experience in the 3D Modelling Environment
     • an understanding of presentation requirements
